Atelier Åberg - founded by Sandra Åberg two decades ago at a time when wedding photography followed a very established formula.
Coming from fashion, Sandra saw another possibility. She was told the two worlds didn't belong together. She disagreed &moved forward with her vision.
She brought the movement, beauty and intention of fashion into weddings - while keeping the real people and their stories at the heart of the photographs.
That way of seeing took Sandra and Atelier Åberg around the world and into the pages of Vogue, becoming part of the visual language upon which the Atelier was built.
Two decades later, our eye is still shaped by fashion.
But experience has taught us what matters.
We believe the most beautiful weddings are the ones that feel unmistakably like the people at the heart of them.
Our fashion background means we will always care deeply about beauty, light, composition and creating extraordinary photographs.
But two decades of experience have taught us that what we bring to a wedding goes far beyond the photographs.
It is the knowledge to know what matters.
The experience to know when to step in and when to step back.
The care we bring to the people around us.
The calm when things don't quite go to plan.
And the instinct to notice the moments you never could have planned at all.
We are there to create, to guide, to observe and above all, to make space for you to experience your wedding with the people you love.

Sandra åberg
Founder & Creative Director
Sandra is the founder and creative force behind Atelier Åberg.
Swedish by birth and rarely in one place for very long, she is a photographer, traveller, big dreamer and lifelong believer that life is meant to be experienced - not simply observed.
She began her career in fashion in Milan before bringing that eye into weddings two decades ago. Since then, her work has taken her around the world, into the pages of Vogue and onto stages internationally as a speaker and educator.
Today, Sandra photographs weddings, portraits, people and places - but what fascinates her most has remained remarkably consistent:
people, connection and the stories that make a life.
When she isn't behind a camera, you'll most likely find her somewhere in or near the ocean, travelling with her son, dreaming up the next adventure or encouraging someone to think a little bigger about what life could look like.
At Atelier, Sandra leads the creative vision and works closely with the team to continually shape how we see, photograph and serve the people who trust us with their stories.

Maria
Studio Manager
Maria is the kind heart at the centre of Atelier Åberg and quite often the person making sure everything and everyone is beautifully taken care of.
Warm, thoughtful and endlessly helpful, she is there throughout the journey to answer questions, keep things moving and make the experience feel easy from beginning to end.
Behind the scenes, Maria keeps the Atelier running smoothly and works closely with our photographers, filmmakers and couples across the world.
Most of all, she genuinely cares.
Whatever you need, Maria is never very far away.
JOE
Photographer, Videographer & Drone Pilot
Joe, a former attorney who transitioned into a skilled photographer, combines the richness of his Australian and Italian heritage. Joe is a very skilled photographer and our go to for all things emergency - if there is a problem from goldfish in a tank at the Persian wedding that died to the brides veil needs fixing Joe is your man.
As Sandra’s trusted partner, he brings a unique set of passions and talents to their collaborative endeavours. His charm and wit and kindness makes him a great presence at any wedding.
An accomplished freediver, mountain enthusiast, helicopter pilot, naturalist, and videographer, Joe is equally at home in the depths of the ocean or the heights of the mountains. When planning a mountaintop elopement, you can count on Joe to expertly guide the way, ensuring not only a memorable experience but also a safe and thriving adventure for all involved.
SALVATORE
Videographer & Drone Pilot
Salvatore another Italian to the team also brings the trustworthy loyal qualities with him. He is hard working and an incredibly palmated videographer.
He is able to capture those epic moments on your wedding day that you will look back at years from now and smile. Nothing gets past him and he manages to film it all with an eye for details and emotions.
With the italian family feels he brings that togetherness in and his clear values for family translates beautifully into the work he creates.
With Salvatore behind the camera you can be sure your wedding film will bring tears to your eyes & leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
KAROLINA
Videography & Photography
With her Swedish / Finnish roots Karoliina brings the Scandinavian estetics to the images. She is an incredible Videographer and photographer and after being mentored by Sandra she joined the team.
She brings light to everywhere she goes and her kindness and open heartedness warms up a room. She is passionate about capturing the real and the uniqueness of your wedding day.
Karoliina is an amazing addition to the team and her kindness and caring ways ensure that people around her are happy and seen.
She will capture that real - raw emotion and the beauty of your soul in a way that only she can.
Tatsiana
Photography
Sweden based with a background in fashion and a love for honest storytelling, Tatsiana brings together an editorial eye with a wonderfully natural way of capturing people.
Her photography is timeless, candid and quietly nostalgic always looking for beauty without ever losing the feeling of the moment.
Warm, curious and completely at home amongst people, Tatsiana loves becoming part of the energy of a wedding day. She'll chat with your grandparents, laugh with your friends and be right there when the dance floor gets wonderfully out of control.
She knows when to guide and create and when to simply let a moment unfold.
For Tatsiana, every wedding should feel like the people inside it: entirely its own.
MICHELE
Photography & Videography
Michele is a fantastic videographer, editor and photographer and a great add on to the team. He brings the Italian charm and wit with him where ever he goes. He is kind and sweet & truly one who goes the extra mile and works hard.
Michele is a person with a great talent but also with the good vibes that is contagious and he manages to work super hard always with a smile on his face & he will make everyone else smile too.
We have worked alongside Michele for over 6 years and he is the most loyal, humble photographer with impeccable skills we have meet. His eye for the moments is amazing and the same goes for his ability to capture emotions and family and isn’t that what a wedding is all about - the connections and emotions.

Sweden-based and working internationally, Clara brings a background in fashion, lifestyle and hospitality to Atelier, with an intuitive and deeply people-centred way of seeing.
Her work is shaped by atmosphere, beautiful light and human connection -creating photographs that feel natural, emotive and alive.
Years spent working around the world have given Clara a wonderful sensitivity to people and place. She has an instinct for noticing the subtle things: a shift in energy, a fleeting expression, the way someone moves through a room or the feeling created by a particular landscape.

Photographer
Tine, a cherished member of our team, is known for her uplifting presence and exceptional photography skills.
Tine is Danish and bring that beautiful clean imagry to life through her lens with a passion for nature and portraiture she enriches the lives she touches and cares deeply about people.
Initially working as Sandra's second shooter at numerous weddings throughout Europe, she has since become an integral part of our team. Tine is organised and a doer and there isn't a task that she can't fix.
Her remarkable photography, amiable personality and ability to adapt to any new setting in a heartbeat make her a valuable asset to the team. She is hard working, fun and easy going and just a good spirit to have around on your wedding day.
